Welcome to **ClauseGuard**. By registering an account and using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our software.

1. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellations

  • Trial Offer: You are charged an initial trial fee of ₦1,500 NGN for your first 30 days of service.
  • Recurring Billing: Starting on day 31, your card will be automatically charged a monthly subscription fee of ₦28,000 NGN. Transactions are processed via Paystack.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time with a single click from your Account Dashboard. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further recurring charges will be made. We do not offer refunds for partial billing cycles.

2. Critical Legal Disclaimer (AI Helper)

IMPORTANT: ClauseGuard is an automated AI utility designed to identify risk patterns based on general freelance industry norms.
  • We are NOT a law firm and do not provide legal representation.
  • None of our analysis reports, risk cards, verdicts, or suggested edits constitute legal advice.
  • ClauseGuard is NOT a substitute for professional legal review by a licensed attorney.
  • You should not rely solely on ClauseGuard to negotiate or sign legally binding contracts. Always consult an attorney for critical business decisions.

3. Acceptable Use

By uploading documents or pasting text, you warrant that you are the author of the agreement, have the owner's permission to upload the contract, or otherwise possess the legal right to review the contract.

You agree not to abuse our services, reverse-engineer our code, or use automated systems (such as bots or scrapers) to extract data from ClauseGuard.

4. Limitation of Liability

ClauseGuard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClauseGuard and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, accidental, or consequential damages or legal disputes arising from contracts you sign or client relationships affected by ClauseGuard analyses.

You assume full risk for the agreements you execute.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without prior notice, if we detect billing failures, fraudulent activities, or violations of these Terms.
